My name is Pamela and I am a social commerce business owner. I was a real estate instructor by trade before I had my kids and I was let go of my corporate job the day I planned on coming back to work from maternity leave.

After having three kids and being ready to go back into the work force again, I was faced with a big problem. First, I was really worried that I would have no job stability and I would put my life (again) in someone else's hands. Second, with three kids, I needed the F word--FLEXIBILITY. With a medical professional husband who worked in the operating room with an inconsistent schedule, I would have to be the one for doctor/dentist appointments, sick days, field trips, concerts, and lunch dates.

Due to my family dynamics, that was the problem in job hunting. OK, let's find something where I can completely make my own hours and not work nights or weekends. As you can imagine, finding that job is like finding a unicorn. There weren't any, especially after being out of the work force (full time) for 11 years. At least I thought there weren't.

Near the end of 2013, I was introduced to a home-based business plan where I could have all the things I was looking for in a career. Flexibility, making my own schedule, working anytime from anywhere. I never looked back. No parties, no inventory, no minimums, no quotas, and no money-handling. Really? I found that unicorn.

Now, I have the pleasure of presenting that same opportunity to others out there and liberating people from the drudge of building someone else's dream.
